17 weeks

i had another appt today.  i gained 4 lbs so i'm a whopping 96 lbs now!  dr. was proud :)  that's about all that happened there, lol.  strong heartbeat and doing well.

my next appt we find out the gender, so make your guesses!

Jimmy was not accepted to the University of Hawai`i.  That's okay!!  Not a very good program anyway!  And it's uber expensive to move/live/eat/breathe there.

I won't say what school I'm rooting for in case I jinx us; but as soon as we hear, I will let you know. :)  6 more schools to hear from!  The light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter!

Jae at the zoo

We went to visit a friend of mine, Tia, and she took her lunch break to hang out with us! That was fun to see her again!

The animals weren't really out bc we went at 10:30 and I guess it was too chilly for most of the animals. We were kind of disappointed at the zoo itself... sure, it's not San Diego zoo, but it was kind of lame. I don't know what I was expecting; I haven't been to a zoo since SD when I was like 13.

The best part was when that video was shot.. he was sooo excited to see some active animals! What a cutie pie!

i just got some unisom to go with my b6. i don't know why it's taken me so long to get it... probably bc i didn't wanna pay for it.  ha ha!  night!

13 wks appt

I knew I should have changed my appt to later in the afternoon, but I like to get them out of the way so I can have the rest of the day to do whatever.  Of course, I barfed before heading out.  It had been a week since throwing up, so I hope this means the morning sickness is going away!  Who knows?  I'm still so super tired and have 3 hour naps!

I heard the heartbeat today--that's always a good sign!  Dr. said I haven't gained any weight since last time, though.  Not surprising since I've been puking for a month!  Not a lot in comparison to my 1st pregnancy, but enough to make me feel gross and not eat I guess.  Nothing ever sounds good.  I'm over my smoothie kick, but I still love my mentos!

In about 6 weeks I will have my ultrasound to find out the gender.  My friend, Amy, didn't find out and I wish Jimmy liked surprises.  I think it would be fun to not find out what we're having!  Jimmy says, "How will we know what to name him/her if we don't find out?"  Honey, we knew what Jae's gender was and it took us until we left the hospital to decide on a name.

I guess I could start taking some belly pictures and compare them to when I had Jae.  Guess I better go find what weeks I took them.

What a ham I have!  I held my camera phone out and told him to say, "Cheese!"  But, only I did.  I thought he wasn't paying attention, but decided to smile really big!  This pic really makes him look bigger than he is...  anyway, I loooove this pic!  He is so cute!
